Origin of the Angelire

Vampire
His eyes veiled shut as
Money locked away in the bank.
He sees like the Devil sees,
Believing in no god except that
He is a god; but he is no god.
A demon combined with a human
To make such a neurotic bond.
The vampire's lusts belong to
The Devil.
Loud pitter-patter sounds like a helicopter,
And then into a ritual blast of drums.
Each beat vibrates the whole world
And touches all of his body and soul.
And the juicy red surprise,
Thick and delicious in his throat and
On his tongue,
Draining blood through his teeth like
A child with a straw and a soda.
A cold, electric shock travels throughout his
Body as if a potent spirit
Were entering him.
Something seems wrong;
Joseph's blood cries too innocent,
And not for a vampire's desire.
The vampire transforms into a stone
Wonder and an angel comes.
"Maxwell's child,
I come to protect you."
As if the angel were a cool wind,
He blows into Joseph's wounds himself
And becomes one with Joseph.
Here lies the origin
Of the Angelire.
